New season of Heel Holland Bakt

It’s that time again! For an entire season, we get to enjoy the most beautiful, but also the most failed and sunken cakes. The latest season of Heel Holland Bakt starts on December 9.

This time, we won’t be following the best home bakers in the Netherlands for a summer, but for a winter. Who makes the most beautiful cake, who bakes the tastiest cookies and who, oh who, excels in the technical challenge? It’s such a joy to watch all those hard-working bakers struggle, especially with all those close-ups of cake batter and melted chocolate.

500 bakers

This year, the jury once again consists of Robèrt van Beckhoven and Janny van der Heijden. André van Duin (number 2 in the FavorFlav Food Top 100) gets to sparkle as presenter once again. The first episode is different from what you’re used to from previous years. It starts with 500 bakers instead of ten! In the first episode, they all compete simultaneously for a spot in the tent. Bakers ready, bake away!
