Oh yes: Aldi is making ice lollies for dogs

Aldi has often thought of us when it comes to deliciously icy treats. Remember the gin and tonic and prosecco ice lollies? But this news deserves a #lifegoals. From now on, you can eat ice lollies together with—yes, really—your dog. Amayzine’s Adeline is over the moon. And secretly, so are we.

In summer, we rattle out ice cubes from our super-deluxe fridge in the editorial office all day long. And when our colleague brings her dog along, it can easily happen that we drop an extra cube onto the poured-concrete floor. She loves it. Makes sense, because the rest of your life consists of dry kibble and raw meat (and a shitload of treats, too). But Aldi is now launching something brilliant: ice cream for dogs.
(N)ice to eat
Why has nobody thought of this before? Eating ice lollies together in summer, then taking a refreshing dip—and I’m sure this will produce hilarious pictures. The flavours aren’t known exactly yet, but I can imagine they’ll be on the meaty side. The ice cream for dogs is reportedly set to hit shops from the end of this month, but we’ll have to wait just a little longer to see whether that includes our country.
