Outrageous: holidaymaker pays almost six euros for the saddest sandwich EVER
Airplane food: know what you’re eating. Not only because everything in the air tastes completely different from on the ground, but also because you come across the strangest things when it comes to airplane food. Take this sandwich, have you ever eaten anything this salty?!
Food on an airplane isn’t always equally delicious. It is, however, a welcome break from the long, sometimes boring time spent sitting. But as far as I’m concerned, the soggy cheese sandwiches and packets of instant noodles (that smell!!) can stay off the plane. Even worse is the sandwich this holidaymaker ordered during a flight with Ryanair. HOW SAD!
Bizarre sandwich
Friend Liz tweeted a photo of the sandwich and revealed that her friend Aimee had also paid €5.50 for it. But the white bread roll with three pathetic slices of bacon can of course hardly pass as a delicious bacon sandwich…

On Twitter, people mainly laughed at the pathetic sandwich. Fortunately, Aimee could laugh about it herself too; she sees it as a very unusual ‘culinary experience’. But outrageous it certainly is! It really reminds us of all those misleading supermarket packages that make us feel well and truly ripped off…
