Recipe: how to make the ultimate Pornstar Martini
The Pornstar Martini has become a permanent fixture on cocktail menus; after years, this drink is still growing in popularity and is even affectionately called a ‘Poma’. I just can’t bring myself to use that name, but I’m always up for a Pornstar Martini. As long as it’s made properly, of course. With a good layer of egg-white foam, a shot glass of prosecco on the side and, naturally, half a passion fruit with a little spoon in it.
Unfortunately, things do sometimes go wrong here and there, but don’t worry: I have the ultimate Pornstar Martini recipe for you here. That way, you’ll never get it wrong at home again.
Secretly incredibly easy
A Pornstar Martini of course looks very fancy and quite impressive, but secretly it’s actually pretty easy to make. Just follow these steps:
- Chill a Martini glass in advance by putting ice cubes in it.
- Put the egg white in a shaker (handy: you can buy this ready-made), and add the vodka, passion fruit juice and lime juice.
- Shake the shaker without ice first, then add ice. Keep shaking until a cold layer (frost layer) forms around the shaker.
- Pour it into the chilled Martini glass.
- Garnish with half a passion fruit and serve with a shot glass of prosecco
