Recipe: Pumpkin Spice Margarita

The days are getting shorter, the weather is gloomy and it’s basically raining non-stop, but that also means: Pumpkin Spice season has begun. And that’s one of the few aspects of autumn and winter that I do like. But I’d rather not order it at Starbucks, but at a cocktail bar — because Pumpkin Spice in a Margarita is much tastier than in a Latte.

Yesterday I had a Pumpkin Spice Margarita and I was so enthusiastic about it that I immediately looked up the recipe for you. This cocktail is going to help us get through winter!
How to make the Pumpkin Spice Margarita
When making cocktails (and often dishes too, for that matter), I find seeing how something is made much easier and more convenient than reading the recipe on paper. That’s why I’m so happy with TikTok. Because yes, they’re raving about this cocktail there too. I personally think this recipe (with orange juice) is one of the tastiest. Not too strong and wonderfully refreshing; follow these steps and you can easily make it at home.
1. Put ice cubes in a shaker and add 45ml tequila
2. Then add 60ml orange juice, 15ml Cointreau, 15ml Pumpkin Spice syrup and 15ml lime juice
3. Shake the cocktail well, until condensation from the ice cubes forms on the outside
4. Make sure the glass you’re pouring it into has brown sugar and cinnamon on the rim. Or make it spicy by replacing it with chili peppers. Or, of course, you can use a combination!
5. Cheers!
