You season the mince for these sausage rolls yourself, so you can vary the flavours and herbs until the roll is exactly to your taste. A spoonful of sambal through the mince? Go for it. And do you want to use only beef mince, or make an exotic sausage roll with chicken mince or lamb mince? No one is stopping you—soon, all those culinary masterpieces will be rolling out of your Air Fryer.
How to make sausage rolls from the Air Fryer
- Make a yeast dough by hand or with the help of a food processor. Do this by forming a circle of flour on your work surface. Make a well in the centre and place the milk, yeast and 2 eggs in it. Knead into a dough and mix in the margarine.
- Leave this to rise for at least 1.5 hours under a damp cloth.
- Mix the mince with meat seasoning, garlic, sambal, buckwheat flour, 2 eggs and Parmesan. Divide the bread dough and mince and make 100-gram balls.
- Roll out the balls into round sheets and shape the sausage rolls. Brush the sausage rolls with a beaten egg yolk and bake them in the Air Fryer. The baking time is 15 minutes at 170 degrees.
