pour me a drink
Recipe: Watermelon vodka punch

A punch bowl is a true classic. Especially at a summer barbecue where the sausages and pineapple skewers are already grilling nicely, a punch is a delicious drink to enjoy while waiting for your snack to come off the grill. And you can easily keep drinking it with such a juicy sausage. My favorite? A watermelon vodka punch, and you can make it in no time!

This showstopper of a punch is refreshing, boozy, made with watermelon, vodka, lime, mint and prosecco, and ready in no time. You can serve the punch in a designated bowl, but I pour it into a hollowed-out watermelon. Extra fun and delicious.
How to make the vodka watermelon punch
- Cut off the top of the watermelon and hollow it out. To keep the watermelon standing, also cut off a small piece of about one centimeter from the bottom.
- Put the flesh together with the mint in a bowl and blend until smooth with an immersion blender.
- Then pour the watermelon-mint juice into the hollowed-out melon together with the vodka and prosecco. Cut the lime into slices and add them to the punch. Give it a quick stir and serve!
