Schiphol gets a healthy vending wall
Imagine a vending wall, only instead of being filled with snacks, it’s stocked with healthy meals. At the end of May, Health Food Wall is opening a healthy vending wall at Schiphol Plaza. No more soggy sandwiches or constantly snacking from the candy machine.
As Emma from FavorFlav already said, it isn’t easy to eat really well at Schiphol. The choice quickly comes down to a soggy sandwich or a lukewarm pizza. No need to worry, because from 29 May you’ll be able to get healthy meals from a vending wall at Schiphol Plaza.
Within seconds, you’ll have a plant-based or gluten-free meal in your hands. These aren’t just light salads, but filling meals such as a rice dish with marinated tempeh and various vegetables.
More locations
The healthy vending wall was previously available as a pilot on Kinkerstraat. It’s gone now, but the plan is to open multiple vending machines at locations in the Amsterdam area. Schiphol is just the beginning.
The healthy vending wall at Schiphol opens on 29 May and will be open 24 hours a day.
