Six-year-old boy sought by Domino’s over pizza fraud

They say that habits learned young stick for life; and this kid from Illinois has clearly got the hang of it. He has scammed quite a few people, and things have gotten so out of hand that the police are now looking for him. A description has since been released: ‘a white boy, presumably accompanied by an adult, last seen wearing a dirty pink baseball uniform and speaking with a Southern accent.’

What did this boy do? He sold vouchers for Domino’s Pizza, offering buy-one-get-one-free pizzas. The money, he said, was intended for his local baseball team — he had started a fundraiser for them.

Domino’s: ‘Never seen this before’

The hungry buyers then took their coupons to Domino’s, who had never seen this whole promotion before. Yep: the young kid had scammed everyone. The police were soon informed and are therefore still looking for the mastermind behind this pizza fraud.

He is, of course, wanted because of this scam, but also because the police are concerned about his own safety. After all, it is not very plausible that a six-year-old kid came up with all this by himself, and given the fact that he was constantly spotted with an adult, the police suspect that the boy is not the brains behind this operation.

And that the money was not going to the local baseball team either — but they figured that out fairly quickly.

Pizza crime

Another case of pizza crime, then, after an actual mafia boss was exposed as a pizza maker and a serial killer in New York was betrayed by his… pizza crust.
