Snackspert: ‘I say: DO YOU WANT PORN? Then you say: YES WE WANT PORN! Then I say: THEN YOU’LL GET PORN!’

Eke Bosman, better known as Instagram phenomenon @snackspert, ate his first frikandel as a baby, hates vlammetjes, has devoured at least 1,000 burgers in his life, suspects there is more mayonnaise in his body than blood, and shares his best and worst snack reviews every other week on FavorFlav. Double cheeseburger from Bonnie in Amsterdam
I say: DO YOU WANT PORN? Then you say: YES WE WANT PORN! Then I say: THEN YOU’LL GET PORN! And so it came to pass. Fake Taxi has got nothing on this, because this double cheeseburger from Bonnie in Amsterdam on Amstelveenseweg is simply like an angel ejaculating on your tongue. Good grief, this burger radiates so much sex, and it is also available in a vegetarian (and vegan) version. The bun is incredibly well toasted, the meat is so tender yet cooked as perfectly as it can be, and the cheese is melted so excellently that the cheese market in Alkmaar is shouting: HUH, HOW?! And that parsley-like sauce on top makes it perfect. Un-be-lievable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

And wait, you want more porn? You bunch of perverts. But fine, let’s carry on, shall we? And that’s an excellent idea, because these nachos too are simply packaged as an orgy on a plate. The homemade(!) nachos have an excellent crunch, the pulled chicken is wonderfully tender, and the guacamole has a very pleasant, fresh flavor. Small downside: I want more cheese. Mooore! Other than that: heavenly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fries from restaurant Moon

Yes, I can already see you stopping scrolling because you’re thinking: huh, what is this? Quite right, because these are the fries from restaurant Moon in the A’DAM Tower. And finally I’m eating something new in the world of fries again (would be a great name for a food festival featuring nothing but fries). Innovative. Love it. What they have done here at Moon is slice the potatoes very thinly and stick them on top of one another, then throw them into the deep fryer. Because of those different layers on top of each other, these fries have such a lovely texture, and every bite is so deliciously crunchy that the person next to you thinks: did your tooth just crack? What a delightful little sound and sensation that gives you. A small downside is that they could have used a little more salt, but hey, if that’s all. This is simply a winner, don’t pay attention to the price. Because this is haute friture. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

Pluimfeest burger from the Vegetarian Butcher

I normally find most vegetarian (and vegan) burgers made from soy dry and woody in flavor, which makes me prefer taking a piece of cardboard, putting a slice of cheese on it, and eating that instead. Exaggeration is an art, but you probably understand what I mean. Now, however, the time has come: one has appeared on the market that makes you think more of a vacation that has just begun. This Pluimfeest burger from the Vegetarian Butcher is tender—absolutely incredibly so. And the flavor is spot-on, too. I am genuinely amazed. Its tenderness is just as satisfying as discovering that the word ‘parterretrap’ is also ‘parterretrap’ when written backwards. The crust is a tiny downside, though; it deserves more flavor. More salt, perhaps—that would work wonders. But what an excellent vegan burger. I bow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
