After last year’s great success, Grand Café Krasnapolsky is back with an Afternoon Tea in collaboration with jewelry brand LOTT. Gioielli. And honestly: it’s a delicious combination.

Grand Café Krasnapolsky’s Afternoon Tea with LOTT. Gioielli consists of three courses and starts exactly as you’d hope: with a glass of champagne, specifically Moët & Chandon.
Tea pairing
While we’re still sipping our champagne, a beautiful tiered stand is placed on the table, filled with savory bites. They don’t just look delicious; they taste that way too. Brioche with octopus, lavender, fennel and tomato, a steak tartare sandwich, and various tartelettes. A tea is also served that pairs beautifully with the bites.
Scones to die for
Next come homemade scones with and without raisins, served with a truly heavenly trio of strawberry jam, clotted cream and lemon curd. Once again, a special tea is served alongside, steamed over buffalo milk—you have to come up with that. And it turns out to be a great idea, because it gives the tea a wonderfully soft flavor, mmm.
Chocolate earrings
The final course draws a connection to LOTT. Gioielli’s new collection of statement earrings. Once again beautifully presented, the various pastries and bonbons include the pièce de résistance: chocolate earrings. And of course, a special tea is served with this course as well.
Time and price
The Afternoon Tea with LOTT. Gioielli can be booked throughout July and August. For three rounds ranging from savory to sweet, with tea pairing and a coupe of champagne, you pay 49.50 euros per person. A great deal, if you ask me.
