The best news of the day: HEMA is selling smoked sausage chips (temporarily!)

When I heard that HEMA was selling smoked sausage chips, yes, you read that correctly, chips flavoured like their iconic sausage, I dropped everything I was doing and raced like a rocket to the nearest HEMA. Call me crazy, but come on: smoked sausage chips! Surely you want to try these immediately?!

1+1=3?

Smoked sausage-flavoured chips… just the idea gets me very excited. Because I absolutely love both chips and smoked sausage, so this could very well be a case of 1 + 1 = 3, right? HEMA already has delicious chips anyway, but that aside. At home, I immediately open the enormous bag. The chips are nice and thin and crispy. The chips are fried in sunflower oil and seasoned for that typical smoked sausage flavour.

And they taste meaty! More than that: I can genuinely taste smoked sausage in them! If you like BBQ-flavoured chips, these are definitely worth trying too, because that is also somewhat what these chips taste like. Suddenly I’m also craving a little stamppot, which must be the Pavlov effect of smoked sausage on me.
