The Joe & The Juice sandwich we also want in the Netherlands ASAP
Forget Joe & The Juice’s Tunacado—yes, even forget the spicy version—this sandwich seems so much tastier to me. Seems, indeed, because for some mysterious reason, we don’t have it in the Netherlands yet. And so I’m being teased on my TikTok For You Page by all kinds of people who are in Dubai, for example, and are enjoying it… Joe & The Juice, what is this?
Because why don’t we have the Bresaola sandwich on the menu yet?!
Joe & The Juice’s Bresaola sandwich
The Bresaola contains Parmesan, tomato, vegan pesto and, of course, bresaola. Not familiar with it? It’s Italian cured meat made from beef. It’s very lean, is dried for 70 days first and then salted. So you do have to be a fan. But believe me, the combination of Parmesan and bresaola is amazing—and judging by this sandwich’s popularity on social media, I’m not the only fan of this combination.
More potential bestsellers in the Netherlands
What’s striking is that in places like Dubai, they have even more sandwiches that aren’t on our menu, such as the Halloumi sandwich with za’atar—and I think that one would be a big hit here too. In that respect, we in the Netherlands keep missing out; at the larger chains, we often don’t get special menu items (as is currently also the case with the Double Big Mac), and when we finally get a chain in the country—such as Joe & The Juice—we don’t get the full menu. Such a shame—maybe I’ll start a petition for this.
