The latest Coca-Cola 3000 Zero Sugar was designed by AI

Oh yeah, I’ve been to the year 3000. Not much has changed but they live under water. And the new Coca-Cola Zero, is pretty fiiiihiiiine. What a banger that song was, by Busted — and the accompanying video too. And back then, the year 3000 still sounded so far away, but with today’s developments, it increasingly feels as though we’re already living in that era. Because the things you can do with AI still amaze me every time.

Coca-Cola has launched a new flavor, called Coca-Cola 3000 Zero Sugar — named after the year 3000, indeed — with Zero Sugar and co-designed by AI. It all sounds very interesting, of course… But is it actually any good to drink?
Putting it to the taste test
You should know that I’m a Coca-Cola Zero kind of person; I always have to have it in the fridge and, generally speaking, I’m not very keen on new creations, because I usually stick to my own classics. But since this new Coca-Cola is also a Zero variant, my interest was nevertheless reasonably piqued… And I find the whole AI story interesting too. They used that AI for a Stable Diffusion, which I find very difficult to explain… So you’d better scan the QR code on your can (or click here) and try it out for yourself, which is more fun anyway.
And then the taste: I have to be honest and say that it absolutely doesn’t taste like a zero — and I mean that positively. It’s a little sweeter than ‘regular’ Coca-Cola Zero, but not too sweet and wonderfully refreshing. In fact, I think that if you dress it up a little with a nice glass, ice cubes, a wedge of lime and perhaps some mint, you could easily fool someone into thinking it’s an exclusive mocktail. All in all, a solid pass.
