The Mac’s biggest blunders of 2020

Even the Mac can make mistakes. Yes, I know; hard to imagine when a burger like the Big Mac has been consistently enjoyable for years. But 2020 wasn’t all wins for McDonald’s; mistakes were made too. Read on…

Many of the scandals don’t even have anything to do with eating at the Mac. No, it seems more like things aren’t running entirely smoothly behind the scenes over at Maccie… Or at least that quite a few things are happening that make me scratch my head.
1. A LOT of sexual harassment at McDonald’s
Last year, McDonald’s employees in the United States decided to file a mass lawsuit against the company—5,000 people in total. 2. Racism at McDonald’s

4. Poor compliance with COVID-19 measures at McDonald’s
Several McDonald’s employees in the United States filed a lawsuit because they reportedly didn’t feel safe at work. For example, there were allegedly no gloves, hand sanitizer or similar supplies available in the workplace. But of course, employees were still expected to keep coming to work.
Conclusion?
Okay, to be completely honest: this is somewhat disappointing news from my favorite guilty pleasure restaurant. Because although no definitive rulings have yet been made in the various lawsuits, the fact that so many lawsuits have been filed does say something. Naturally, I’ll keep you posted on the above. Hopefully the Golden Arches haven’t failed spectacularly, but I’m afraid of the worst…
