Earlier, Snackspert already wrote an enthusiastic review of the sandwich that, at the beginning of this year, could easily have run off with the title “best snack of 2022′. The filled fluffy brioche sandwich is still wildly popular. So if you haven’t been yet, you need to get there as soon as possible! Snackspert: “This Rib Eye Bulgogi toast from Chun Café in Amsterdam is the next big hit. No joke. It’s a divine toasted sandwich topped with a soft-boiled egg, and underneath that rib eye in a bulgogi marinade, finished with some gochujang sauce (Korean chili paste) and delicious tangy mayonnaise. Every single bite — really, every single bite — is a celebration. It’s the kind of celebration you’ll still be thinking about months later, as if it were that one legendary afterparty at Lowlands. The Korean-marinated meat is exceptionally juicy, packed with hints of garlic and onion and a little pepper. I haven’t eaten anything like it in moooonths, so I’m willing to overlook the high price. It’s one of the few sandwiches in the capital that is truly, truly, truly worth the money. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

That’s entirely possible, but it still feels unique. So I was very happy when I once again ate something unbelievably delicious recently. Just look at this. This ‘Chook Norris fried chicken sandwich’ from Dignita near Vondelpark in Amsterdam is exactly what you need to eat if you’re planning to enjoy the sun next Saturday and/or Sunday and head toward the park. This is seriously next-level. What’s more, it may seem expensive, but the two of you can easily share one. You’ll be completely full after just one sandwich. Why is this the perfect sandwich for this weekend? Because you’re not allowed to go wild in the evening anyway (okay, unless you have a casual fling/relationship/cuddle buddy), but you can absolutely go wild with this sandwich. And second: because the marinated fried chicken is as tender as a hug from Paddington Bear, the black beans provide that satisfying fullness, the avocado slices add creaminess, and the white onions and chipotle mayonnaise finish things off with a sharp kick. It has everything. Sometimes it’s very easy to explain why something deserves the highest score. It has, once again, everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
