These are the finalists of the Great Grill Sausage Test 2022
Every year, the Great Grill Sausage Test is organized – a professional competition by the Royal Dutch Butchers (KNS). An important affair, because not all grill sausages are created equal. But these ten finalists all have a grill sausage to be proud of. And fortunately, you can find the tastiest artisan grill sausages throughout the Netherlands.
The right grilling temperature
Last week, the judging for the Great Grill Sausage Test took place. This year, more than 80 butchers submitted their grill sausage. A delicious task for the jury: putting all these sausages to the test. The butchers who made it to the final all have a top-quality sausage in store.
Every finalist has their own secret, but the grill sausages from these finalists were all made artisanally, with care and passion. And, no less importantly: with fresh ingredients, the right balance of spices and the correct grilling temperature.
