Take cover! The day we collectively love to hate is just around the corner, and that can mean one of two things. You either lose yourself in a desperate search for the most romantic restaurant, the most thoughtful gift and the most sensual scented candle, or you join the organized counter-movement and set fire to your ex’s underpants in a ritual gathering with your buddies.

Brockmans Valentine’s Tinder Tipple

Not this year, thought the people at Brockmans Gin. For singles who do want to have a fun evening this coming Friday, there’s now the Brockmans Valentine’s Tinder Tipple, at the brand-new cocktail bar BarFly on the Nassaukade in Amsterdam. The formula? Secret messages, great music and gin—lots and lots of gin.

How does it work?

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a sticker with a number. A potential lover can recognize you by this number, so stick it firmly and visibly on your chest. As soon as you’ve noticed someone you like, you can send them a message (anonymously or not). A matchmaker will be walking around, providing you with a card and then delivering it (discreetly) to your crush. You can also choose to send your lucky guy or gal a Tinder Tipple (drink).

The tipples

There are three different tipples on the menu, and each tipple has a different meaning. All tipples are made with Brockmans Gin, a sensual gin full of red fruit—ooh la la!
