This is supposedly the most beautiful McDonald’s in the world

Of course, you go to McDonald’s for the burgers, which you know exactly what to expect from, when you want to eat quickly and don’t want to linger over your meal for too long. At least, that’s the case with 99.99% of McDonald’s visits. But there is one location you go to because it is truly beautiful. Can you imagine it, a Maccie with a crystal chandelier? It really does exist.

And you’ll find it in Porto, Portugal. This location opened its doors in 1995 and offers a completely different Big Mac experience. Here you’ll find stained-glass windows, chandeliers and a gigantic eagle above the entrance.

Art Deco meets McDonald’s

The menu is otherwise standard for McDonald’s, except that in Portugal they have items such as beer, soup and completely different burgers on the menu. There is also a McCafé in this building, where they sell quite a few pastries that look genuinely delicious. But then again, that is probably the case at all locations in Portugal. Still: head to Porto, because the most beautiful McDonald’s in the world should of course be on your bucket list.
