This is what McDonald’s fries sauce packets will look like
January 1 marks the end of a McDonald’s era: from then on, the well-known fries sauce will no longer come in the familiar containers, but… In packets. And many fans are dreading that; will they contain the same amount of sauce? Will the flavor remain unchanged?! Yes, ultimately we are creatures of habit and changes like McDonald’s fries sauce containers disappearing cause us to short-circuit – even if the world is on fire.
Fortunately, I can reassure you all: the McDonald’s fries sauce packets really aren’t that bad.

Apparently, McDonald’s couldn’t wait and went ahead and handed out the first packets. So much for the January 1 scoop, but maybe there was no other option: had they run out of the old plastic containers? Either way, Fleur got lucky and already received a packet with her McDonald’s order, and she knows how to put us all at ease. In fact, we might even end up being very happy with this change!
Because she shows us the packets, and indeed: they don’t look bad at all. I need to see (and taste) them myself before I believe it, but Fleur even speculates that they might contain more than the plastic containers. And that would be pretty smart of McDonald’s, because it would of course be the perfect antidote to all the criticism of this change: giving people more for the same price.
