Top champagnes by the glass: Huis ter Duin opens Petit Latour by Ruinart champagne bar

Attention, champagne lovers. Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk is opening a (temporary) champagne bar: Petit Latour by Ruinart.

Wine bars are popping up like mushrooms in autumn. I love that, because besides being able to drink really good wine at wine bars, they’re also the ideal place if you want to eat out but don’t want to spend the whole evening sitting in a restaurant. Good wine, a matching bar bite, and that all evening long, love it!

Champagnes with French dishes
In the wake of wine bars, a champagne bar was bound to follow, because champagnes also come in many different styles and flavors — and an added bonus: champagne pairs incredibly well with food. At the new Petit Latour champagne bar, you can order various exceptional champagnes with matching French dishes. These were specially created by chef Marcel van Lier of big brother Latour, Huis ter Duin’s Michelin-starred restaurant. So you know: this is going to be delicious.

Ruinart Blanc de Blancs
The Petit Latour menu features various champagnes that can be ordered both by the glass and by the bottle, such as the immensely popular Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. You’ll also find lesser-known and more exclusive champagnes, such as Dom Ruinart Blanc 2009 by the glass, a unique offering! For people who don’t like champagne (do they exist?), there’s a selection of wines and cocktails.

Enjoy the bubbles
Petit Latour is located on the first floor of the iconic hotel and will be open until the end of February 2022. On Fridays from 5:00 p.m., Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., you can enjoy the bubbles here. What a wonderful prospect!
