So you could really use some tropical vibes, right? That’s why we’re brightening up your day with the recipe for a delicious Dirty Coconut Coke.

Cola is the perfect drink to experiment with. It’s not without reason that countless Coca-Cola flavors have already been launched on the market—many of which have disappeared again. When you buy a new cola at the supermarket, it’s always a flavor that has been added to the drink. Of course, you can also create something yourself. At some point, someone—in America, naturally—discovered that cola with milk isn’t such a crazy idea at all. In fact, it’s absolutely delicious. So why not cola with coconut milk?

How to make a Dirty Coconut Coke

Just looking at the ingredients list will transport you to a tropical island. Cola, coconut cream, coconut milk, lime… This can only be sunshine in a glass. You can buy coconut cream and coconut milk at an Asian grocery store, but you’ll also find them at (larger) supermarkets. The rest of the recipe is incredibly simple, and you’ll have made it before you can say ‘coconut’:

• Mix the Coca-Cola, coconut cream and lime juice in a tall glass. Fill it with ice. Stir well for about 5 seconds, until everything is combined.
• Pour in the coconut milk and create a beautiful color gradient. Serve with a lime wedge.

In the mood to go coconuts ? Add a splash of rum (from Don Papa, for example). You’ll forget that grey routine in no time, we bet!
