Watch: Bad Vegan miniseries on Netflix
We’ve already seen on Netflix how a clever con artist financially fleeced three women, but it can get even worse: in the series Bad Vegan, the story is told of the owner of the best vegan restaurant in New York, and how she completely goes off the rails. Spoiler: she is arrested when she orders a Domino’s Pizza.
The series doesn’t arrive on Netflix until March 16. You can bet we’ll be sitting ready with a blanket, popcorn and a WhatsApp group on standby, because the trailer already promises an unbelievable story. The main character is Sarma Melngailis, a beautiful blonde chef with her own vegan restaurant, Pure Food and Wine, in New York. A resounding success, celebrities are sitting at the tables and everyone is crazy about Sarma.
Immortal dog
Things go wrong when she meets her husband. Large sums of money go his way, inexplicably, and he promises to make her dreams come true. Her restaurant will become even more popular than it already is and, moreover, he can make Sarma and her dog immortal. Wait a minute: seriously?
Arrested
We won’t reveal anything else. It’s a miniseries, so that means watching it again with our eyes wide and our jaws in our laps. The ending is already revealed in the trailer: Sarma is arrested when she orders a pizza from Domino’s. Not very gastronomic, and not exactly vegan either, ma’am. And where did those millions go?
