Watch tip: the new Netflix series Sergio Over De Grens
If there’s a series in which our country’s most famous chef goes in search of the most delicious food in the world, we obviously have to watch it immediately. The new series Sergio Over De Grens by Zeeland star chef Sergio Herman is exactly that.
Whether we discover the secret behind Sergio’s shrimp croquettes, eat deluxe fries at his Frites Atelier or make his ultimate chili oil; really, everything Sergio does and shares is impossible to beat. And honestly, who doesn’t love the genuine, passionate chef with the Zeelandian g?
A 5-star series
In his new series, Sergio invites well-known guests from the Netherlands and Belgium to discover the secrets of various cuisines. He takes Belgian TV chef Jeroen Meus to Croatia, island-hops around the Greek islands with actress Anna Drijver, goes on a culinary pilgrimage through northern Spain with DJ Regi Penxten, and Axel from his previous series also makes an appearance this time.
What can you expect? An incredible number of special dishes and ingredients, interspersed with good conversations, sometimes prepared by Sergio in the simplest and tiniest kitchens. A delightful series in which Sergio visits places he has never seen before and tastes things he has never tasted before. In short: watch it!
