The royal couple is looking for an independent cook who can work and organize well, the job posting reports. You will work with master chef Willem-Pieter van Dreumel at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague, among others. However, you may occasionally also have to work at one of the other palaces. A driving licence is therefore required.

Microwave meals

Although the job posting states that the ideal candidate has experience in ‘the higher segment’, royalty expert Marc van der Linden once told HP/De Tijd that Willy and Max are actually very modest eaters. In fact, they are said to mainly eat microwave meals at home. Admittedly, prepared in advance by a cook (you, perhaps?), but still.

Are high-end microwave meals totally your thing? But can you also put together a state banquet in no time? Then put pen to paper quickly. You can still apply until 25 November.

What does it pay?

So, what does it pay? Depending on your education (at least mbo level), you can earn a maximum of 2970.50 euros gross per month. You will also receive an irregular-hours allowance, holiday pay and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 percent.
