Yes: Tony’s Chocolonely and Ben & Jerry’s are teaming up from now on!

Tony's Chocolonely, Ben & Jerry's, samenwerking, collab, open chain, chocolade, chocolate

Our love for Tony’s Chocolonely is no secret, and neither is our love for Ben & Jerry’s. Not only do they make incredibly delicious bars and ice cream, they’re also companies committed to fair living and working conditions and the future of the planet. Delicious and doing good, in other words. And now, to our great delight, these two superstars are joining forces…

A match made in choco-heaven, right? It seems so obvious, and yet the two have only ‘just’ found each other. But the collaboration is immediately a very close one, celebrated with hearts in their eyes and a number of new products that will have you running straight to the store.

Rock-solid collab

From now on, Ben & Jerry’s will source all the cocoa for their ice cream mixes through Tony’s Chocolonely’s Open Chain. They will become allies in the mission to create fair, liveable and slavery-free conditions, and can trace the origin of the cocoa beans in order to pay fair prices to cocoa farmers. All companies can join the Open Chain established by Tony’s Chocolonely, and collectively we can be pretty proud that a globally beloved impact brand like Ben & Jerry’s is joining forces with Dutch company Tony’s, right?

Come on, come on, come on…

Four times hit potential

Together, they’re flying the flag—in the form of these celebratory products, available soon, in which the two parties come together in a true ‘Chocolate Love A-Fair’: Ben & Jerry’s Chocolatey Love A-Fair ice cream, based on Tony’s bestseller milk-caramel-sea salt. This ice cream will come in both a plant-based and a cow’s milk version. Tony’s, in turn, is launching two new Chocolate Love A-Fair bars in the flavours dark milk-brownie (based on the Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream) and white-strawberry-cheesecake (based on the strawberry cheesecake ice cream). The ice cream will be in the freezers of all supermarkets from October, and the bars will hit stores in January 2023. Plenty of time to make room in your freezer and pantry, then!

Just a little more patience, then bring everything home…
