You can now buy a pizza oven at Lidl and it costs next to nothing

Homemade pizza doesn’t always turn out as perfect as the one from your favorite pizzeria around the corner. Because, let’s be honest, we don’t exactly have a gigantic wood-fired oven sitting in our tiny kitchen. But Lidl has (once again) come up with the solution! After the ingenious mini dishwasher, Grill Egg BBQ and mini wine fridge, they now also have a mini pizza oven for your home.

The perfect pizza

A pizza oven for home—who wouldn’t want one? After all, the pizza with 111 types of cheese, pinsa or classic Neapolitan pizza you put together yourself with military precision can of course be baked in a ‘normal’ oven, but a special pizza stone and scorching-hot temperature really are key to achieving that ultimate crispy crust. And this mini pizza oven has exactly those two things. It contains a stone (which you can also remove), while the integrated temperature gauge indicates precisely which temperature is ideal for baking your pizza.

Only for the BBQ

One small caveat: the pizza oven is intended exclusively for use on gas and charcoal barbecues and therefore does not work on electricity. But hey, since we’re firing up the BBQ nonstop this summer, this new invention from Lidl for 59 euros is definitely another real must-have.
