You can now buy a Grill Egg BBQ at Lidl and it costs next to nothing
Lidl is really doing well. I was already enthusiastic about their cool wine climate cabinet, and now they’ve come up with a great BBQ. Lockdown sucks, but this does make it a little more bearable, if you ask me.
As soon as the sun starts shining, the whole of the Netherlands wants to barbecue. I get it. I love barbecuing too; every piece of meat, fish or vegetable tastes even better with that smoky flavour. And if you don’t have a barbecue at home yet, or yours needs replacing, this is a really great (low-budget) tip. The mother in me says: get me one for Mother’s Day (don’t forget, it’s tomorrow), because women can grill too (although many men still think they’re the only real grill masters in the house).

At under a hundred euros, this egg is a real bargain.
