You can now buy this Bifi pizza snack at Action
Normally, I go to Action for the most nonsensical things for the house, cat toys or cleaning supplies. Either way, I always come back with eight times as much as I planned to buy, but in terms of cost it’s often still the same as I had budgeted, because Action remains wonderfully affordable. Increasingly often, I also head there for snacks, because in case you didn’t know: you can find some really good ones at Action.

Extra points for Bifi, too, because they also make it in a vegetarian version (although I’m not sure whether they sell that one at Action as well; it does exist, at least).
This is the Bifi Carazza XXL
Anything with XXL after it immediately gets my attention, so I’m curious how big these things really are. I think it’s not too bad, though: 75 grams per serving, which comes to a total of 374 calories. Well, we don’t eat Bifi sausages for their healthy nutritional value anyway, so we won’t count those calories.
Action describes this snack as ‘crispy dough filled with seasoned meat and cheese’; I describe it as ‘the Bifi version of a Hot Pocket’. These snacks are wildly popular in America, but I hardly ever see them anywhere in the Netherlands—until now, that is, at Action. Race to the nearest store, and I’ll do the same. Don’t be surprised if they’re already completely sold out in Amsterdam, because I’ll have beaten you to it.
