You’ll want to make this delicious shawarma wrap right away

We don’t lump everything together, but you can always make us happy with döner or shawarma (these are the differences). And definitely not only after a night out—we also love it as an easy lunch or dinner! With this recipe, you can whip up a top-notch wrap in no time, with a lovely twist as a bonus.

This shawarma is 100% plant-based—and before you think, ‘no thanks, just give me regular meat’; a consumer study by Normec Foodcare showed that respondents liked this vegan shawarma just as much as the meat version! Vivera’s Plant-Based Shawarma is also a food award favorite and is rated 9.5 by consumers. Delicious and a good choice, then, if you make this:
How to make the wrap with Vivera’s plant-based shawarma
- Fry the shawarma in the oil for five to six minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Briefly warm the Lebanese breads in a dry frying pan or in the oven.
- Stir the pressed garlic into the vegan yogurt and season with a little salt.
- Divide the lettuce, onion, tomato and shawarma over the Lebanese breads.
- Add sauce to taste and roll up. There you go, done!

You can find Vivera’s plant-based products at all major supermarkets. And by the way, you can also prepare this shawarma in the Airfryer if you’re too busy sitting on your balcony or in your garden to stand over the stove.
