Albert Heijn issues food warning for grill sausage

Important safety warning from Albert Heijn. This time it concerns grill sausage. More specifically: the Streeckgenoten Grillworst product. The contents do not appear to correspond to the packaging. As a result, allergens are not correctly listed.

Streeckgenoten has decided to remove the Streeckgenoten Grillworst naturel product from the butcher shop “Slagers van Warmenhoven”, sold at Albert Heijn, from the shelves. This concerns packages with best-before dates of 04-06-2024, 05-06-2024 and 08-06-2024.
Incorrect grill sausage packaging
Due to a production error, the grill sausage from another Streeckgenoten butcher ended up in this packaging. As a result, the allergens wheat, cereals containing gluten and mustard are not listed on the packaging.

Gluten and mustard allergy
Do you have this product at home? Then pay close attention. Streeckgenoten advises customers with a gluten and mustard allergy not to consume this product and to return it to an Albert Heijn store. The purchase price will be refunded when the product is returned.
If you do not have a gluten or mustard allergy, you can eat this grill sausage without any problems.
