Tip: the first edition of Vistival with star chef Jaimie van Heije

We recently tipped you off about the Oyster Festival Amsterdam, and now we have a new tip for you—once again, one for the fish lovers among us. Brouwerij de Eeuwige Jeugd is launching the first edition of Het Vistival in collaboration with star chef Jaimie van Heije at Woodstock69 Bloemendaal.

After the completely sold-out Frikandellen Festijn and two editions of the Kaassouffleest at Levenslang Amsterdam and Winkel van Sinkel in Utrecht, it is time for a summery version. A new snack, a new chef, and a new location!
Four-course Vistival dinner
On Sunday, June 23, the first four-course Vistival dinner will take place at a new and truly unique seaside location: Woodstock69 in Bloemendaal. Four types of fish snacks will be prepared by star chef Jaimie van Heije, who closed his Restaurant Jaimie van Heije after eleven years and recently started as the new signature chef of restaurant Next.
A small selection from the Vistival menu: Lekkerbek with truffle, pata negra, and shallot, and kibbeling with caviar and ravigotte sauce. Naturally, these come with matching beers from Brouwerij de Eeuwige Jeugd.
And these are cheerful beers with character. How about a real Mokum girl: Lellebel. Or the slick young god: Gladjanus. Another recommendation: the ringleader of mischief, Belhamel. And then there is Vrijer, which will send you completely out of your disco ball. That works out well, because during the festival, a DJ will spin the soundtrack for the dishes and everything that follows.
