Albert Heijn launches new shelf-stable plant-based dairy alternatives (and the choice is huge)

Albert Heijn is introducing new shelf-stable plant-based dairy alternatives today. The range is being expanded to include, among other things, shelf-stable AH Unsweetened Hazelnut Drink and AH Unsweetened Cashew Drink.

The alternatives to dairy milk just keep coming (have you tried the new potato milk yet?). Earlier this year, Albert Heijn already introduced AH Barista soy, AH Barista coconut soy and AH Unsweetened Pea Drink.
Plant-based whipped cream
Also new are AH Soy Whipping and AH Coconut Whipping; plant-based alternatives to whipped cream based on soy and coconut, respectively.

Gluten- and lactose-free
The drinks are available in one-litre cartons and cost €1.89. The AH Coconut Whipping and Soy Whipping come in 200 ml packs and cost €1.49. The drinks are gluten- and lactose-free. Calcium has been added to the drinks; the sugars occur naturally.
Tip: make our favourite vegan Bounty cake, with the winning combination of coconut and chocolate—so delicious! Also irresistibly plant-based: this vegan chocolate mousse cake.
