At these restaurants, you eat for free on your birthday
Those who have a birthday treat everyone. Unless you go to one of these restaurants; then you, as the birthday person, are the one being celebrated and you don’t have to pay anything at all. Now that’s good news, right? It is important to bring your passport, of course, and let them know when making your reservation that it’s your birthday.
And make sure you haven’t had lunch, because they’re all-you-can-eat concepts where you can eat for free. Time to feast.
At these 6 restaurants, you eat for free on your birthday
1. Wereldrestaurant A2, Amsterdam
All you can eat on your birthday, and completely free too. You’ll be going home feeling absolutely stuffed… You can do that at this restaurant. You do have to pay for the drinks yourself, but all the food is completely free. Just remember to bring your passport.
2. Asuka, Oosterhout
Spoiler alert: it’s mainly all-you-can-eat concepts that participate in the whole free-food-on-your-birthday idea. This spot in Oosterhout does too, where you can eat as much sushi as you like on your birthday without paying anything for the food. Living the dream.
If Oosterhout is a little too far away, Hachi is a good option: another all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, but close to Amsterdam. I’ve actually been recommended this place several times by people who have visited more than once, so it’s sure to be a feast.
4. Wereldrestaurant Breed, Leek
Here, things work a little differently: you can come and eat for free at this restaurant on the Monday after your birthday (unless your birthday is on a Monday, of course). There is one condition: there must be at least four people in total. But actually, it’s handy that it doesn’t necessarily have to be on your birthday itself; you can simply celebrate twice.
5. De Watertuin, Bergen op Zoom, Naaldwijk, Spijkenisse, Schiedam & Hendrik Ido Ambacht
Ideal: you can choose from many locations here. Like numbers one and four on the list, this is a world restaurant, which means even the pickiest eater will leave happy. For me, that always means I eat far too much, but hey: on your birthday, that’s allowed.
6. Feefa, Amersfoort
I’ll start right away with the strict requirement mentioned here: you have to bring at least six people, and then you can dine for free. So round up your friends, bring your passport and make an evening of it. Yes, this is another all-you-can-eat place, buuut also all-you-can-drink. Bring it on!
