Baileys launches new limited edition: Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake (+ recipe for hot chocolate, mmm!)

Is the moist red cake with a thick layer of frosting your favorite cake, and do you always have a bottle of Baileys in the cupboard? Then we have good news for you. Baileys is launching a new flavor: Red Velvet Cupcake. We’re also giving you a delicious hot chocolate recipe to go with it.

A new season, a new Baileys. After the summery Pina Colada Baileys, it’s time for a warm autumn (which starts tomorrow) variant. This time, the familiar velvety Irish Cream is blended with the flavor of Red Velvet cupcake. And that means fresh chocolate cake, cream cheese and a hint of cocoa in a liquid red-pink form. A cake in a bottle!
It makes sense that you want to try this Limited Edition asap. So we’re sharing this delicious recipe for Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake hot chocolate right away, so you can get started immediately!
How to make the hot chocolate
- Divide the chopped chocolate between two mugs.
- Heat the milk in a saucepan until it starts steaming (do not let it boil), then divide equal amounts over the dark chocolate in the mugs. Leave to stand for about 1 minute, then stir well to combine everything.
- Add 50 ml of Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake to each mug and mix well.
- Finish with whipped cream and marshmallows.
