Best quick lunch: pizza in a mug (ready in 3 minutes!)

pizzamug

Describing how much I love pizza… That’s truly impossible. It’s an intense love. It’s a versatile love. It’s a love I would happily see several times a week. A love that absolutely doesn’t match my scales. It’s pizza. Need I say more?

I really mean it when I say I could eat pizza every day. And the advantage of having too much pizza in the evening is that you can have pizza for breakfast in the morning. All well and good, but then you’re still missing something essential: lunch.

Don’t sulk, make pizza in a mug

I should actually say I was missing it, because I’ve found something for that. This pizza in a mug is genuinely ready in the blink of an eye. And another plus: the portion is modest, so you can eat it reasonably guilt free too. Win-win, let’s go!

  • Mix the flour, olive oil, baking soda, a little salt and baking powder together in a microwave-safe mug (very handy);
  • Then add the milk and mix it all together;
  • Next, pour the tomato sauce on top (and don’t stir – molto importante!);
  • Distribute the cheese, pepperoni and any other ingredients over it (I’m definitely going to try it with gorgonzola too), along with the Italian herbs;
  • Put the mug in the microwave for one minute and twenty seconds (at 1200W);
  • E finito!

Even a child could do it, right? Pizza lovers, we can create endless delicious variations with this, believe me.
