CBD Sriracha exists—for a double kick

It seems that here in the Netherlands, because of our fairly mature views on cannabis, we’re not so easily impressed by so-called CBD edibles. I mean, if you can buy space cake on every street corner in Amsterdam, why would you be? Right? But now a product has hit the American market that we can totally endorse.

Joint on your plate?
CBD stands for cannabidiol, a substance found in hash or weed that affects the effects of THC—the substance in it that makes you feel stoned. These days, you can find it in cookies, chocolate, burgers, beer… but to say it’s really taking off in the Netherlands: nope. In America, however (where the sale and use of weed is legal in only a few states), many people do find it very interesting, and they regularly come up with products in which it is cleverly incorporated, giving them an aura of mystery and cult appeal. And so now there is:
CBD Sriracha!
Admittedly, there are few versions of this sauce of the gods that we wouldn’t want to try, so this one can also count on our excessive interest. Potli, a Californian company run by two women specializing in CBD- and THC-infused foods, launched the CBD sriracha in honor of the past Chinese New Year, and with the nano-emulsified THC it contains, apparently you get not only a flavor kick but also a mental one.
Nice bottle too, although international shipping might be tricky. What do you think—should you try making it yourself with, for example, this winner and a few drops of CBD oil?
