Delft has a new hotspot

Have you ever heard of ‘eatertainment’? We’ve written about it before, because hello: it’s hugely trendy. Hospitality combined with entertainment—we love it. And we’re clearly not the only ones, because Mooie Boules, where you can play a nostalgic game of pétanque alongside eating and having drinks, is a huge hit. Mooie Boules was already in 010 and 020, but now it’s also opening a location in Delft.

With gravel courts surrounded by places to eat and drink, plus comfy seating areas, Mooie Boules is the perfect place to spend the entire evening. This boules food hall consists of, among other things, eight boules courts and living rooms with their own bar and tap. For the night owls among us (after one drink too many), there is of course also the now-famous karaoke room.

Drinks and food

Between games of pétanque, you can order food from various local businesses. In collaboration with top chef Ron Blaauw of Ron Gastrobar, several signature menus have been developed. Think, for example, of an Indonesian rice table. The barbecue heroes at Smoke Masters also grill up a storm here. In addition, Mooie Boules serves beers from Delft brewers and coffee from local roaster Miss Morrison and Dutch Originals.

Mooie Boules comes to Brabant

And there’s more good news! In addition to the location in Delft, Mooie Boules will also open its doors in Eindhoven and Breda, among other places, at the beginning of 2020. More cities will follow, but they will remain a secret for now.
