Director makes Burger King commercial voluntarily and goes viral
Big companies naturally employ gigantic marketing teams whose job it is to come up with the most catchy, eye-catching and successful commercials. The results aren’t always that good, if you ask me—especially the ads for cleaning products that appear in every commercial break. Of course, I’m more easily tempted by commercials featuring food, and as far as I’m concerned, Maccie and Burger King always get those right. They always spontaneously make me crave something.
And Burger King’s latest commercial is currently going seriously viral—there’s just one striking detail… It wasn’t made by Burger King at all!

Just a side note: I’m genuinely gi-gan-tic-ally addicted to Reddit. I literally fall asleep with it every night, and you can find absolutely everything there. The whole world is on it (especially Americans), including the most talented people—such as director Daniel Kantur. He posted the video he directed himself on the popular subreddit r/funny, voluntarily, putting Burger King in the spotlight. I hope he was given free Whoppers for life, because this commercial is absolutely amazing.
Eat like a King
Come on, admit it—this really looks as though it came straight from Burger King itself, doesn’t it? In fact, isn’t this genuinely the best commercial Burger King has ever had? I wouldn’t be surprised if they took over Daniel’s commercial. Let’s just hope he asks for a little more than a lifetime supply of Whoppers. Not everything came from Daniel Kantur’s own creative mind, by the way, because he found the script—written by someone named Dan Sorgen—on the Specbank.com website, and liked it so much that he decided to film it. Who needs a gigantic marketing team when you have internet fans like this?
