Favorite delivery addresses

After a long day at work or hanging out on a terrace, you don’t always feel like creating a complicated meal. Or even putting a pan on the stove. Fortunately, we live in a time when many excellent restaurants deliver their food to your home.

So many, in fact, that it can sometimes be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. These are our favorites in Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam.

Amsterdam

Sushi at Fresh2Go

There’s no shortage of places to order sushi, but they’re not all equally good. The sushi at Fresh2Go is fresh, delicious and affordable too.

Burger at Parck

The Fabulous Twin Burger here is juicy, with not too many ingredients but a delicious Parck sauce. When it comes to fries, you can really go all out. Go for the truffle fries with Parmesan or the animal style fries with bacon, cheddar and jalapenos.

If you’re really hungry, order some bitterballen too. That is, if you can choose between shrimp, venison, lobster and matured cheese.

Pizza at Renato’s

Crispy, thin bases with not too many ingredients. But everything on your pizza is top quality. A favorite is Diavola, with spicy salami, peppers and garlic.

Ramen at Ramen-Ya

Creamy broth with a powerful flavor; the noodles are packaged separately so they don’t overcook. According to FavorFlav, these are without a doubt the best ramen in Amsterdam. The gyoza and kara-age (Japanese fried chicken) are delicious too.

Tjin’s

For fantastic sandwiches filled with hot chicken, lamb, salted cod or pom. But also for enormous trays of nasi rames, roti or lemper.

Dessert

If you still have room for something sweet, we have good news for you. De Drie Graefjes delivers right to your home. That means you don’t even have to leave the house for your favorite red velvet or carrot cake. In the mood for a donut instead? Go for a Boston Cream, Cinnamon Sugar or White Chocolate Cardamom at Harewood Bakery.

The Hague

Broodje van Dootje

A household name in The Hague for years, and fortunately available for home delivery too. The classic and all-time crowd favorite is the sandwich with steak tips. But you should also try the uitsmijter, hot chicken and broodje halfom here.

Lebanese at Baladi

A Lebanese restaurant focused on manoush, a flatbread baked in a traditional oven. With cheese, za’atar, spicy seasoned minced lamb or labneh, for example. There’s also a sweet version with pistachio and sweet tahini.

Chinese at Full Moon

All the dim sum is made fresh here. Steamed shrimp dumplings, char siu buns and sticky rice in lotus leaf with chicken, for example. But the main courses are delicious too. Pepper and salt prawns, wonton soup or mapo tofu, for instance.

Cheesecake Company

For all cheesecake fans, whether you go for the classic version or white chocolate raspberry, double chocolate chip or Snickers.

Rotterdam

Urban Bakery

Whether you want a whole cake or a slice, you can order it from this city bakery. From classic apple pie or cheesecake to buttery hazelnut cookies, this is for true sweet tooths.

Barbecue at Roffa streetfood Bar

Attention barbecue and meat lovers: at Roffa streetfood bar you can order brisket cooked for 24 hours, house-smoked ribs, burgers and meat platters. Perfect when you’re with a whole group of hungry carnivores who don’t feel like cooking.

Indonesian at Toko Toorop

This is the place to go for Indonesian favorites. The crispy pork belly with sambal kecap sauce is highly recommended, but you can never go wrong with the rendang either.

Pizza at La Zia Maria

The pizzas at this Italian restaurant are delicious. Be sure to order a cheese platter in advance, as the cheeses and cured meats come straight from Italy.

Utrecht

Poke Delicious

Here you can put together your own poke bowl. You can choose between regular and large, and go all out with the toppings. Tuna, salmon, chicken, tofu or shrimp, plus so many extras that we can’t even list them all here.

Chicken at Kippig

They deliver to your home, but even to the park or the pub. Wherever you are, your daily chicken fix is never far away. Whether you order a whole or half chicken, satay or wings, the organic fries with piccalilly mayo are a must.

Gys

An organic restaurant with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, but meat lovers have plenty of choice here too. Sandwiches with tempeh or beetroot-and-lemon-mayonnaise gravad lax, for example. But also delicious salads for dinner, or a beetroot burger.

Firma Pickles

For burgers in all shapes and sizes. MRIJ beef with cheddar, shallots, mustard and pickles. Livar pork belly with kimchi, spicy Korean cucumber and gochujang mayonnaise. Or will you go for the Old Bay pulled chicken (from Bresse chicken) with celery pickles, bell pepper mayonnaise and fried onion? Fantastic fries are included with every burger. Not from Utrecht?
