Great news: Fort Negen Sandwich Bar has opened

Delicious news from our favorite bakery, Fort Negen. Because as of today, their new Sandwich Bar is open! And you don’t need a crystal ball to know this is going to be a hit. Fort Negen’s sourdough bread, their croissants and Christmas stollen are always a bull’s-eye.

Bread is insanely expensive, yet we’re still willing to spend half a month’s salary on good bread. Fort Negen, Maarten Langeslag’s bakery on Jan Evertsenstraat in Amsterdam, doesn’t just make sourdough bread; it has also taken the croissant—already no ordinary bakery product—to a higher level. Fort Negen’s bakery remains open every day (from 08:00 to 18:00) (and until 16:00 on Sundays). For the tastiest sandwiches, there’s now the Sandwich Bar.
