Hang a smoked sausage in your tree

HEMA-kerstballen in je boom

A true foodie knows better. Christmas baubles in the tree are fun, but a dangling sausage, HEMA tompouce and cone of fries are even better.

What is Christmas without a cheerfully decorated Christmas tree? Meh, hardly Christmas at all, if you ask me. That’s why my tree is filled with all the things I dream about every day. Mini champagne bottles, a life-size falafel and a croissant (earring) that turned out to work better in the Christmas tree than in my ear.

Hotdog or stroopwafel ornament

But just now, my Christmas heart really made a huge leap for joy: HEMA is now selling the very best Christmas decorations. I mean: the iconic HEMA smoked sausage, which you almost want to sink your teeth into (don’t—it’s made of glass), surely makes you want to hang it in your tree immediately, right? Or how about a tompouce or stroopwafel ornament… And for the die-hard snack fans, there’s also a hamburger, hotdog and cone of fries available to hang in the tree.

You can find these delicious Christmas decorations at HEMA, and at an average price of 2 euros apiece, you can easily fill your entire tree. Merry Christmas!
