IKEA has opened its own restaurant in London

IKEA restaurant Londen

We already knew that you can go to IKEA for Swedish meatballs and cheap hot dogs. But now IKEA has opened a restaurant in London, on the stylish and charming King Street. At the new Hammersmith location, you don’t have to walk through the entire furniture store to get to IKEA’s tastiest offerings; you can simply walk straight into the restaurant.

Naturally, IKEA’s iconic meatballs are on the menu (also available in a plant-based version), but you can also opt for an English breakfast.

The restaurant is located in IKEA’s brand-new city store. Hammersmith is the first location to embrace this concept, and who knows, more IKEA restaurants may soon follow in other cities. So if you’re planning a trip to London soon, be sure not to skip a visit to IKEA Hammersmith. It will save you quite a bit of money on lunch or brunch in London (€68 scrambled eggs?!). Eight meatballs with mashed potatoes, green beans and a tasty sauce will cost you just £5.50. And for a typical English Breakfast, you’ll pay only £2.75.
