In Den Bosch, you can dine at Het Smakenrad: a Ferris wheel with spectacular views

Het Smakenrad transforms the gondolas in the Ferris wheel into wonderfully atmospheric private restaurants where you can have breakfast, lunch, drinks, dinner or a cup of coffee. From 1 May through 11 June, Het Smakenrad will revolve at De Vliert, offering views over ’s-Hertogenbosch and the surrounding area.

You can still visit Het Smakenrad, because there is a genuine fear-of-heights gondola. Using LED screens, you can see the same view through the window of this special gondola as the guests high in the air. This way, you can experience the entire Het Smakenrad experience while keeping both feet on the ground.

Tickets—including a ride of approximately 30 minutes with a drink and a sweet Brabant delicacy or Brabant sausage roll—are available from €14.75 per person. Tickets including a ride of approximately 60 minutes and lunch cost €27.75 per person, while tickets including a ride of approximately 120 minutes and a two-course dinner start at €42.50 per person. Children’s menus (ages 2–12) are also available to reserve at reduced rates. Reservations are essential and can be made via the website (walk-ins are possible if places are still available).
