Ooooooh, after that ama-zing Brander mayonnaise by Oliehoorn, there is now also a Zeedijk sauce by Oliehoorn, and yes, dear people, that is THE sauce from Amsterdam butcher’s shop Slagerij Vet, which they use for the Zeedijk sandwich (smoked chicken breast with fried bacon and THAT sauce). And anyone who knows that sandwich knows that the sauce is unrivalled. How cool is it that such a legendary sauce is produced on a large scale, so the rest of the Netherlands can enjoy it too? Otherwise, I would have rarely had the Brander mayonnaise in my mouth either. Exactly. But anyway, that Zeedijk mayonnaise is sublime too: sweet, but also slightly spicy. A little curry in it. A heavenly combination. It tingles your tongue like the best lover ever has, but with a real happy ending.
