Love it: Heinz launches a burger dip
Heinz, we need to talk. Because I have the feeling that we really are incredibly loyal consumers here in the Netherlands. Your mayonnaise and especially your ketchup – liters of it are consumed in many a household. And then you come up with a brilliant new concept… Is it not (yet?!) available in the Netherlands? That simply can’t be right, can it.
Because Heinz is launching a burger dip and indeed, that sounds like something we really need here too. This dip isn’t a sauce like mayonnaise or ketchup that you put on your burger, but genuinely a sauce for dipping. And that could be chips, or indeed that burger. Sounds strange, looks mega delicious.
Heinz Dip and Crunch
Buuut it’s so much more than just a dip for your burger. This latest addition is called Heinz Dip an Crunch and the name gives it away a little: it also has a crunchy aspect. It consists of two parts: a container with sauce and a container with crunchy potato pieces.
But the sauce is what I’m especially curious about. It consists of tomato purée, butter, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, tamarind, onion powder and herbs. Delicious: there’s also a spicy variant.
When will it be available in the Netherlands?
So Heinz, as I said: we need to talk. This summer, we’ll all be barbecuing en masse and this would be a great addition. I want my burger with Dip and Crunch. How are we going to make this happen?
