Magnum launches new Euphoria Pink Lemonade ice cream
Magnum fans, this message is for you. The ice cream brand has launched a new flavor: Euphoria Pink Lemonade. A fresh new ice cream flavor with the familiar thick, white, crunchy chocolate coating around it.
Magnum first became famous for its oval-shaped block of vanilla ice cream covered in a layer of milk chocolate. A classic that has since also been given the name Classic. After other classics such as Almond (favorite!) and White, many more exciting flavors followed. The Almond Sweet & Salty Remix, for example, and the iconic, bright pink Magnum Ruby. The new Euphoria Pink Lemonade stands out even more, if you ask me. Have you ever had a Magnum with lemon ice cream in it? No, right?
Fruit and chocolate: a divine combination
This is not the first time Magnum has incorporated fruit flavors into its ice cream, by the way. Raspberry was experimented with earlier (Raspberry White: it was SO delicious), as well as mango and passion fruit (the Double Sunlover). I do like that, a fresh fruit flavor alongside chocolate. It makes the ice cream much less heavy to eat. Something Magnum—let’s be honest—can be rather guilty of.
Pink Lemonade on a stick
So what does Euphoria Pink Lemonade taste like? Well, this is my new favorite. What else would you expect from someone whose favorite fruits are lemon and raspberry (because those are in it too), and whose favorite type of chocolate is white chocolate? When you bite into the crunchy white chocolate with popping candy, you immediately reach a core of lemon ice cream and raspberry sorbet. Wonderfully refreshing.
That also means it’s not excessively sweet, which is always a risk with some Magnums. And yes, it really does remind me of Pink Lemonade: the one by Fentimans. All of this also makes it dangerous. Because I immediately want another one. And another one. As I test this ice cream, it’s 10:00 a.m. and I can’t guarantee that I won’t have had another one before noon.

You can find the new Magnum Euphoria Pink Lemonade at Albert Heijn, among others. There are classics (3 for € 3.99), minis (6 for € 5.99) and a pint (€ 6.99 for 440 ml).
