Man at door’s insanely clever trick gets him half a year of free KFC

Half a year of free French fries and Big Macs at McDonald’s or kroketburgers at FEBO; for some people, it doesn’t remain a dream. This man went for it and ate for free at KFC for half a year. It did, however, end up costing him rather dearly.

Die-hard McDonald’s fans know that the McDonald’s app always has some great deals. Especially if you download the McDonald’s app and enter your birthday (or, for example, log in with your Facebook account). You’ll then get discounts or free products in the month after your birthday. Just remember to bring your ID, but that’s a small effort for a free Big Mac, right?

Free crispy tenders in abundance

A man in China also downloaded an app—not McDonald’s, but KFC’s. While using the app, he found a bug that allowed him to obtain hundreds of free vouchers by switching between the KFC ordering and store apps. Over the course of six months, he used them to order more than €7,500 (!) worth of KFC. That’s more buckets than this man who ate a KFC meal every day for 100 days…

What goes around comes around…

After eating himself round on crispy tenders and hot wings for half a year, the free KFC dream came to an end, and the man was caught together with the friends he shared the vouchers with. The greedy snackers now face a 2.5-year prison sentence and an €800 fine. Whether two years in prison were really worth all those free snacks and burgers, we rather doubt. Well, a classic case of what goes around comes around…
