McDonald’s launches McKroket Menu and it costs next to nothing

The last time we wrote about McDonald’s McKroket, it wasn’t good news: the vegan version was supposedly made with real ‘McKroketten’. Ouch. There is good news for McKroket fans, though: McDonald’s is launching Twaalfuurtje in the form of the McKroket Menu. And it costs next to nothing.

I never go to McDonald’s myself, but I’ve already heard colleagues whispering about this so-called ‘Twaalfuurtje’. Apparently, there’s a kind of secret code for this McKroket Menu. If you mumble something about ‘Het Twaalfuurtje’, employees will know what you mean and serve you a McKroket with a drink and fries.
Het Twaalfuurtje
That’s handy, because Het Twaalfuurtje wasn’t visible on the menu boards or on the website. The McKroket comes in a meal with a drink and French fries. Over the next few weeks, the McKroket menu will be available through the app at a special price of €5.95. Costs next to nothing, then. It also contains barely any nutritional value, but that’s entirely up to you.
McKroket Menu: temporary
Het Twaalfuurtje will be on the menu temporarily from tomorrow—17 September 2024—and will be available throughout the Netherlands.
