McDonald’s launches veggie McKroket
A little while ago, there was a minor uproar among McDonald’s fans: the Veggie Dippers had been removed from the menu. But now McDonald’s is coming back with a delicious option: a veggie McKroket! That’s right: from today, the McKroket is also available as a vegetarian option.
Vegetarian pulled meat
The Veggie McKroket is made with vegetarian pulled meat, a meat substitute based on protein with a little parsley. The burger is served with the same delicious sauce, crispy crust and soft bun as the original McKroket. Just as croquette-like, but vegetarian.
5 vegetarian products
With the Veggie McKroket, McDonald’’s Netherlands is introducing a veggie version of a beef burger for the first time. And besides this vegetarian classic, there is even more for the flexitarians and vegetarians among us to enjoy. McDonald’s is offering more and more McDonald’s snacks without meat. Since early 2019, McDonalds has already introduced 5 vegetarian products, such as the Veggie Nuggets.
